Nashville Social Reaches 500-Event Milestone, Hosting 5+ Weekly Events for Nashvillians in Their 30s and 40s
Volunteer-led social club founded by Bonnie Puntasecca creates opportunities for connection and community while supporting local businesses.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — 8/25/26 — This Saturday, August 29, 2026, Nashville Social, a free volunteer-run social club focused on building community for 30-40 somethings, will celebrate its 500th event at locally owned Hoppin’ Gulch. Led by local organizer Bonnie Puntasecca and a team of dedicated volunteers, the organization hosts a minimum of 5 events each week for their 800 members. Events are held throughout the greater Nashville area and provide a variety of options to meet new people, have new experiences, and create friendships.
As Nashville experiences ongoing growth, many residents in their 30s and 40s face challenges establishing meaningful social circles outside of work. Nashville Social addresses this gap by organizing consistent events, including coffee and conversation, sports events, game nights, live music, outdoor activities, and dining around town. The 500th event milestone was reached in less than 18 months.
“Moving to a new city as a 40-something was a new challenge for me. In my 30s and 40s, I was looking for something different than in my 20s. I couldn't find it, so I created it. Although I’ve hosted events like this in other cities, it struck a chord in Nashville. The enthusiasm and participation here is like nothing I’ve seen before,” said Bonnie Puntasecca, Lead Organizer at Nashville Social.

5+ Weekly Events: Maintains a consistent schedule of social options across the greater Nashville area, including but not limited to Downtown, WeHo, Gulch, East Nashville, Bellevue, Franklin and Hendersonville.
100% Volunteer-Led: Driven entirely by local hosts passionate about community building.
Targeted Community: Built specifically to serve locals in their 30s and 40s.
