King’s X brings their 40-year long friendship and storied career to City Winery Nashville for an evening showcasing their signature sound that earned them one of the most diehard fanbases in music.
The trio includes Dug Pinnick on bass and vocals, Jerry Gaskill on drums and vocals, and Ty Tabor on guitar and vocals, together possessing the ability to lock into an unspoken groove where each element shapes a signature sound singular to these three individual souls alone. They took the stage at Woodstock 1994 and have toured with Pearl Jam, AC/DC, Mötley Crüe, and Iron Maiden to name a few. Fan favorites include Ear Candy, Tape Head, Manic Moonlight, Black Like Sunday, Ogre Tones, and more. In 2022, they returned with their first full-length studio album in 14 years “Three Sides of One” representing the culmination of a bond forged way back in 1979. In the end, the album is everything King’s X were, are, and always will be. Dug says, “To me, the train is rolling, and I’m on it like we’ve been doing for 43 years. We’re just old friends.”
