Several of you have asked for more outdoor activities so here we go!
Visiting all of the TN State Parks is on my TN bucket list, and this one seems close enough to be a day trip!
About the Park from the web:
Cedars of Lebanon State Park is located in Wilson County and is surrounded by the Cedars of Lebanon State Forest. The park is named for eastern red cedar trees found throughout the area. The trees reminded early American settlers of the famed Biblical cedar forests that thrived across Mount Lebanon in what is now the Mediterranean area. Cedars of Lebanon became a state park in 1955.
It is approximately 40 minutes from Nashville.
About the Trail from the web:
According to users from AllTrails.com, the best place to hike in Cedars of Lebanon State Park is Hidden Springs Trail, which has a 4.4 star rating from 1,573 reviews. This trail is 4.1 mi long with an elevation gain of 157 ft.
